A Persian Wedding in Noto, Sicily
The Setting Wedding Location Castello Solacium, Italy is definitely a very popular location for couples to host their weddings and for us, we always had the best time traveling anywhere in Italy. The reason we chose Sicily was because it kept its authenticity and rawness, while having the amazing food and warmth of its people. We wanted to have a fully outdoor ceremony and celebration for both days.
An Architectural Wedding Inside an Abandoned Wine Factory in Greece
Style Notes Ceremony Décor For our ceremony we really wanted to utilize the incredible silos at Dexamenes. We ended up bringing in these gorgeous benches to place “runway style” beside the silo. We created this beautiful abstract arch with plenty of greens. I wanted the flowers to remain as neutral as possible so as not to distract from the architecture and natural beauty of the place.
A Spanish Castle Wedding Under a Canopy of Wisteria
The Setting Wedding Location We got married at an 11th century castle nestled in the mountains just outside of Barcelona, Spain. I was instantly won over through photos of Castell de Sant Marcal and committed to the venue before even seeing it in person. Luckily, the venue is even more impressive in real life than in photos. The castle served as a stunning backdrop for our wedding festivities. Walking through the grounds on my first visit there made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.
A Timeless Italian Wedding in Rome
Wedding Planner & Stylist I followed Bianco Antico before I was even engaged or knew I would be getting married in Italy. They just have an eye for making things effortlessly pretty (although I’m sure it takes a lot of effort), & that is what we wanted for our wedding – simple beauty. My mom & I did everything from the states, so it was a relief to really trust my wedding planner‘s taste & style, and be able to lean on them for opinions and ideas when I was at a loss.
An Italian Wedding at a Hidden Sicilian Gem
Style Notes Ceremony Décor Our ceremony was in an olive grove higher up in the venue which was a viewpoint over the venue and the ocean. It was so beautiful that we didn’t want to detract much attention from it. We kept things simple with wicker brown chairs large terracotta cases full of red gladiolus which contrasted beautifully against.
A Winter Wedding in New York City at Wythe Hotel
Wedding Planner & Stylist My day-of coordinators were Ashley and Dawn of Dawn Mauberret events. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Because of them, I felt like I could truly be in the moment and relax on my wedding day. Hydrangeas were a given from the start because they become so sculptural en masse, and we knew we wanted to play up shape and scale. Because I’m so drawn to texture, bleached amaranth was all over my early mood boards.
A Modern, Romantic Wedding in a Tuscan Village
The Setting Wedding Location Our wedding venue Borgo Lucignanello stood out for multiple reasons but when it came down to it, it was a feeling. The historic village in the heart of Tuscany was going to be extra planning as it was remote. What drew us was the layers, layers of paint, worn stone, olive groves and interiors. We chose to have a late afternoon ceremony in the terrace garden with a view. The theme became more apparent – how do we execute a wedding day to transform with the space.
