My team is rigorous about using atomic design, and we love symbols for enabling us to integrate it into our design workflow. We experiment a lot with nested symbols, making Atoms, Molecules, and Organisms. Sketch Overrides work great for this, but what we'd really like to do is make Page Template Symbols as well, so we can make pages quickly from them. This is useful for swapping out major components when only one is changing on different states within a page.
Symbols duplicate instead of instances
I saw a similar post from a few months ago in which someone responded that this error has been rectified in the most current version of Sketch 42. However, when I copy a symbol to multiple art boards in which that symbol occurs, it duplicates the symbol instead of just the instance. Does anyone else have this problem?
