Co-editing my college newspaper in Sydney: called Vertigo.

Yes, I still own one.

Making us jittery and always second-guessing ourselves, but also allowing us to be better informed.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To hold power to account and to illuminate people and issues that deserve to be better understood.

Internet generally, Twitter, our CMS Eden, ChatGPT as a brainstorming tool

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I always asked too many questions as a kid
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I wrote letters to the editor to the local paper instead
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Changing the way people engaged with the EU via the Brussels Playbook. Then during that time the special series "Brussels So White".
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Figure out what makes you different. Figure out the things you can uniquely tell the world about X or Y, and focus on telling them.
