What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a general reporter covering basically everything at the Mexico Ledger in Mexico, Mo.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Concise emails.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was a general reporter in high school. Won an award for a story I wrote about a "ghost" that haunted the halls.
