John Cena returning to WWE next month on SmackDown
John Cena is making another return to WWE. WWE sources tell us Cena is set to appear on the Sept. 1 edition of SmackDown, taking place at The Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As you'll recall, the 16-time World Champion last stepped in the ring back in April at WrestleMania 39, when he challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship. Cena was in control for most of the match, but ultimately lost after receiving a low-blow, then an "A-Town Down" from the champ.
Five WWE Superstars on the rise
With the Summer of 2023 in full swing, a handful of WWE Superstars have stood out as talent to keep an eye in the coming months. It’s been one year since Triple H took over as head of WWE creative. In that time, many Superstars who had either been released or departed were brought back into the fold, and a crop of new faces from NXT were introduced.
The top 10 pyro entrances in WWE history
The spectacle of WWE wouldn’t be complete without badass pyrotechnics. Nothing gets wrestling fans more hyped for a match than watching stuff blow up on the entrance stage, as WWE’s larger-than-life personas walk to the ring. When you’re there live, the startling explosions force you to jump from your seat at attention, and it immediately gets your blood pumping.
WWE World Heavyweight champ Seth Rollins says new title was a necessity
The introduction of a new WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Raw was met with criticism from some, but new champ Seth Rollins says the show needed it to get back on track. WWE held a tournament to crown Raw’s first World Heavyweight champion back in May. The company’s top stars competed for the prize and Rollins ultimately came out the winner, following a victory over AJ Styles in the finals. The elephant in the room, however, was Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns is pinned for first time in more than 3 years at WWE Money in the Bank
Roman Reigns was pinned for the first time in three and a half years on Saturday at Money in the Bank — yet the result wasn’t a crowning achievement for a new top star in WWE like many expected would occur all these years. It all went down in a main event "Civil War" between The Bloodline that saw WWE Undisputed Universal champ Reigns and Solo Sikoa battle it out with family members Jimmy and Jey Uso. Neither side held back and both went to war as advertised.
25 Years Later: Remembering Mankind vs. Undertaker's Hell in a Cell match
June 28 is the 25th anniversary of the infamous Hell in a Cell match that saw Mick Foley get hurled off the side of the cage by Undertaker. For me, however, it has a deeper meaning. The match took place at King of the Ring ‘98 and was only the third Hell in a Cell match in WWE history at the time. Foley was known as Mankind then, and Undertaker was one of his biggest rivals.
Should Jey Uso be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns?
Jey Uso stands at the center of what many are calling the greatest story in WWE history, but one big question looms over it all: Should "The Right Hand Man" end Roman Reigns 1000-day run as champ? For me, the answer is yes. Allow me to explain. The Bloodline saga began in October 2020 at Hell in a Cell, when Roman Reigns forced Jey Uso to quit. This wasn't the usual tap out, though. Jey quit the match in an effort to save his brother Jimmy Uso from being choked out further.

WWE's World Heavyweight Championship brings purpose back to Raw
The introduction of a new World Heavyweight Championship to WWE’s Raw brand has quickly brought a sense of purpose back to the show. Let’s face it: The entire premise of a wrestling show is built around a world champion. Whether it was Hogan and Flair in the 1980s, Steve Austin and The Rock in the 1990s, or John Cena and Dave Bautista in the 2000s, having a central figure at the top of the mountain is key in producing compelling storylines.
