Overall survival in classic Hodgkin lymphoma pts who progress after autologous stem cell transplant in the era of novel agents
Introduction: Approximately 20% of patients (pts) with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) relapse after frontline therapy. Salvage chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) have cure rates of 60%–70%. Prior to brentuximab vedotin (BV) and checkpoint inhibitors (CPI), the median overall survival (OS) of pts with cHL relapse after ASCT was 2–3 years.
Abstract No. 591 Transvenous Endovascular Tricuspid Vegectomy Using Large Bore Aspiration with Real Time Transesophageal ECHO: A Minimally Invasive Alternative to Open Vegectomy
Invasive endocarditis continues to be a growing health concern with a 1-year mortality rate of 30%. Right sided infective endocarditis is often associated with intravenous drug use (IVDU), intracardiac devices, and central venous catheters, all of which have become more prevalent in the United States over the past 20 years. Currently if a patient cannot undergo surgery, AngioVac is FDA approved for suction thrombectomy.
There is growing evidence supporting endovascular treatment of hepatic artery stenosis (HAS) following liver transplantation to improve diminutive graft perfusion and to prevent progression to hepatic artery thrombosis. This retrospective study evaluates the safety and efficacy of direct hepatic artery interventions versus extrahepatic arterial embolization in the setting of HAS.
