Fabrication of three-dimensional graphene-like networks 3D-GLNs for strengthening nickel-based composites

Abstract 3D graphene networks offer significant potential for enhancing the mechanical and functional performance of metal matrix composites. In this study, sucrose was employed as a solid carbon precursor and homogeneously mixed with nickel (Ni) powders to enable in-situ graphene formation through rapid thermal annealing (RTA). This approach eliminates the need for conventional graphene dispersion techniques and enables a uniform and efficient incorporation of graphene within the metal matrix.

Over the past couple of academic terms, Students for Life at Oregon State University had an active and impactful season. Through education, advocacy, service, and outreach, our members worked to promote awareness and support for life-affirming resources both on campus and in the broader community. Throughout the fall term, Students for Life at OSU also spent time hosting Students for Life of America fall tour tabling on campus as part of our outreach and educational efforts.
