Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I wanted to get involved with the esports scene. That transpired into a love for storytelling and reporting.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I actually was a terrible writer in high school and more involved with mathematics/science. Writing was a passion discovered later in life.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write and read as much as you can. Mistakes are a natural part of the process, but learn as you go. The reps will show in your writing.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The best time to pitch me is in the morning from 6am ET onward.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The worst pitch I have ever received was a camgirl website trying to get me to interview their CEO for his take on esports.
