John Distilleries Ltd (JDL) is expanding its Paul John Single Malts (PJSM) range with three new additions and plans to launch two more Select Casks soon. They are tripling production capacity to 3 million liters annually at their Goa distillery. JDL exports PJSM to over 50 countries and is exploring new markets, with a ₹100 crore investment in the Goa plant.
Tesla to use iron-based batteries in Semi electric trucks and affordable electric car
Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk has championed on the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology dominated by Chinese suppliers, saying in March, "the vast majority of the heavy lifting for electrification will be iron-based cells." But having Chinese suppliers build battery factories in the Unites States is a challenge because of the U.S.-China political tensions.
Tesla delivers 88,869 China-made EVs in March - CPCA
That was up 19.4% from February, when the U.S. electric car maker delivered 74,402 China-made Model 3 and Model Y electric cars. By comparison, BYD sold 206,089 units last month with its Dynasty and Ocean series of EVs and hybrids, up 97.5% from a year ago, CPCA data showed. Globally, Tesla posted record quarterly vehicle deliveries in the January to March period, but quarter-on-quarter sales growth was modest despite price cuts as rising competition and a bleak economic outlook weighed.
