Sally Hubbard’s Biography

Sally is a Senior Antitrust Correspondent for The Capitol Forum, whose recent work includes coverage of mergers in the media and technology sectors. Sally joined The Capitol Forum after serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Attorney General’s Antitrust Bureau under the Eliot Spitzer, Andrew Cuomo, and Eric Schneiderman administrations. She investigated and prosecuted a wide range of anticompetitive conduct under the federal and state antitrust laws, with a focus on health care and oil and gas mergers. Sally was honored with the Louis Leftkowitz award for her role in the municipal bond derivative bid-rigging investigation.

Previously, Sally worked as an attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, an adjunct professor at New York Law School, and an associate at Hogan. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from The College of William and Mary, and a J.D. from NYU Law.
