What does it mean to be a journalist?

You uncover the truth and share it with the world.

Why did you become a journalist?

Because I'm an explorer and experimenter and wanted to share my discoveries with other people.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I worked on my college newspaper.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My memoir, Raver Girl. It's about when I was a teen raver in the `90s in the San Francisco Bay Area.
