Have you ever used a typewriter?

I played with one. When I was a kid, I found a vintage iron typewriter at a Goodwill store and typed news and very short stories on it.

What's your favorite drink?

Most of the time plain, ice water. However, I also enjoy a cup of strong coffee or a glass of red wine on occasion.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Either out talking with people, attending events, exercising, or exploring the area. Or I am in trying new recipes.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Some perceive lifestyle and feature articles as "fluffy." I see them as a chance to share information that affects readers' daily lives.
