Health-related quality of life in epilepsy and its associated factors among adult patients with epilepsy attending Mizan Tepi University Teaching Hospital, Southwest Ethiopia: a cross-sectional study

Methods An institution-based cross-sectional study based on random case selection was conducted. The study was carried out at Mizan Tepi University Teaching Hospital, which is located in Southwest Ethiopia. It serves more than 1 million people. A psychiatric clinic is one of those four chronic disease follow-up clinics, which give service to PWE disorder. At the time of this study, the clinic was providing service to approximately 736 adult PWE. The study was conducted from 25 March to 6 May 2019.
