Freelancing for an alternative Albuquerque newspaper and reporter at the University of New Mexico student newspaper.
How is social media changing news?
It's making more necessary fact checking for accuracy, reliability and meaningful context.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Fair and accurate storytelling with a purpose and objective process. Giving people information they need to make better decisions.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Montgomery, the birthplace of the civil rights movement, electing its first black mayor.
