You're a storyteller the purpose might be different but at your core you're there to tell a story.

I use a lot of photoshop and because I do photography too I try to get my own images

Why did you become a journalist?
I grew up watching Murphy Brown. Journalism and writing is in my family. It's just what we do.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn't, I worked for our family's newspaper in town doing movie reviews and delivering.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I did the Youth Guide to Politics for Wiretap and MoJo back in the day. I loved doing youth political reporting in 2008
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Learn digital, find different ways to tell a story using many mediums
When's the best time to pitch you?
doesn't matter, if it's in my email box I'll get around to looking at it eventually. I like to do it on my own time
