Disrespectful Vogel calls Democratic leaders cowards. He hasn't earned council spot | Opinion
Sarah Cherry is a lifelong Democrat and lawyer living in Columbus. This November, Columbus voters will choose between two candidates for city council. Only one has shown she understands that winning progressive change in Ohio means standing shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow Democrats, not toe-to-toe against them. That unifying candidate is Tiara Ross. Many of us saw last year the agenda of cruelty, hate and destruction that was coming if Democrats lost power. Need a break?
SEC Eases Verification Burdens in Rule 506(c) Offerings | JD Supra
The SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance recently issued an interpretive letter[1] providing additional insight as to what constitutes “reasonable steps” to verify an investor’s accredited investor status under Rule 506(c) of Regulation D, a private offering exemption that permits general solicitation.
Have you heard? Ear Mountain is absolutely stunning
The Rocky Mountain Front is arguably one of the most scenic areas in Montana. The Ear Mountain Outstanding Natural Area is no exception, and the trail inside the 1,869-acre stretch offers stunning views of the surrounding area. The relatively easy hike and pretty scenery makes this spot a great place to spend a day. The trail in the Ear Mountain area is three miles long, offering a couple of loops along the way.
Experience Glacier in a whole new way in the winter
Glacier National Park is one of the most popular summertime destinations for travelers around the state. However, between the crowds and hard-to-find lodging, the beauty of the area is often overshadowed by the unmet need for some solitude. This makes winter the perfect time to experience Glacier, not only giving the landscapes a different look, but allowing visitors to see it from a new perspective. The majority of the park is closed by December, leaving few roads plowed.
Camp like a cozy nomad in a Montana yurt
Anyone who has been camping knows that it can turn into quite the ordeal. Between packing, finding the perfect location and messing with a tent, “escaping” from everyday life can end up requiring more work than it would to just stay home. While there is always the option of renting a cabin or taking an RV, these still don’t always offer the feeling of coziness that a tent does. Yurt camping is an easy way to have thin-walled access to the outdoors and is a great alternative to tent camping.
It’s a great time to explore Montana’s natural wonders
On Aug. 25, the National Park Service will celebrate its centennial. With the program turning 100 years old, this summer is a better time than any for you to enjoy our national parks. For some, a trip to one of the parks is an annual thing, done only once a year; others visit them on a regular basis. For more frequent travelers, it’s a good idea to invest in an America the Beautiful pass.
In majestic Glacier, smallest gems shine brightest
Glacier National Park has a way of making one feel small with its towering mountains and spectacular views. The park’s magnitude draws travelers from all over the world. But the park’s smaller attractions — waterfalls, lakes and other destinations — hold just as much beauty and are definitely worth visiting. Running Eagle Falls is one of them. Also known as Trick Falls, this waterfall is found in southeastern Glacier in the Two Medicine area, just a mile past the entrance.
