What was your first job as a journalist?
Here Elsewhere my first paid piece was Sothebys.com I was working for Christies at the time it felt very naughty
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes and i would love a type writer - I think they can be quicker.
How is social media changing news?
Sadly I have no idea.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I tend to self generate stories and I only write about things that interest me.

Why did you become a journalist?
I tried it and I liked it - it felt like a new way to engage with art.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I liked writing about Marie Antoinette.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't get put off by rejection, I would give that to myself, pitch wide.
What's your favorite drink?
The Campari my fathe and I have that we drink by the wall at home. You cant have a second one.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
on the tennis court or at the supermarket I go there a lot.
