What was your first job as a journalist?
Homepage editor. My first assignment as a paid journalist was covering a One Direction concert.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, we didn't have a computer so I used a word processor/type writer in the early 2000's for school.
How is social media changing news?
Social media allows users to gain access to information faster and from sources that are where the news is happening.

Kent Brockman from The Simpsons

Why did you become a journalist?
I was always interested in video, writing, news and upcoming social media platforms. My current position encompasses all of that.

I did not.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Helping local journalist with digital coverage on the 2019 El Paso Walmart shooting and the 2022 Uvalde Elementary School shooting.

Either shopping, with family or playing bingo.
