Sara Weissman’s Biography

Journalist with a focus on higher education and religion beat reporting. Former editor in chief of New Voices Magazine. I'm currently working as a staff writer focused on faculty diversity and higher education policy for Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. I earned my M.S. at Columbia School of Journalism and graduated with high honors from the University of California Berkeley with a B.A. in history and a minor in religious studies. My writing has been published by Religion News Service, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, and USA Today, among other media outlets.
