Shoaib Ahmed Sayam

I started out as a feature writer in 2015 and transitioned into journalism some years later. Throughout my career I took a shot at any work I could find: writing satire, features, and opinion pieces; taking interviews; doing reports; translation; and copy-editing.

I also have managerial experience, as I used to run the city section of a national newspaper—determining page design and layout, placement of news items and pictures, and overseeing the final product—in absence of my immediate supervisor.
