Covering markets for Bloomberg News based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previously, I worked for Reuters in Buenos Aires, and wrote about organized crime, corruption, and drug trafficking in Latin America for InSight Crime. I have also written about environmental human rights issues for the Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense, and was based in Oaxaca, Mexico at the Oaxaca Times in 2015.
I have a Master's Degree in Global Policy Studies from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master's and a Bachelor's in Journalism from the same university.
