What exactly constitutes a "bum"?

The dictionary definition of bum says a boxer who fights below his level. But boxing fans seem to refer to everyone as a bum. It seems most people take bum to mean a fighter that is not worthy of being a professional boxer, rubbish and over rated. So what do you take bum to mean?

Alright, I'm certainly going to end up pissing countless people off with this thread, but whatever... it won't be the first time. But what I'm going to say, has really needed to be said for quite some time. But I've said nothing, and the Cult Of The Gypsy King has grown almost as uncontrollably as the Cults Of The Bronze Dosser and The Golden Bodybuilder. Maybe it needs a little water poured onto it. Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm doing this extemporaneously. So here goes....

Far better than Franklin, Arreola and Martin who we thought would be Whyte's next victim. I believe it will potentially be even more dramatic than Whyte vs Povetkin. Wallin has the size advantage over Whyte and is quicker and arguably more technical boxer.

How do you see a Joshua v Whyte Rematch Playing out?
Was just rewatching the first fight highlights: If the rematch was made right now who would you back and why? Whyte looks smaller and more erratic in that fight. I'd back him this time round given the experience and size he's gained since then, plus facing a current more gun shy version of AJ will give him confidence.
