Why did you become a journalist?
I love to research and write.

I did, but I hated high school. I think it's a repressed memory.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
An essay on sexual violence and protecting my disabled daughter.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
No two success stories are alike. Listen to advice, but do everything in your own way. Create your own opportunities.
