What was your first job as a journalist?
My high school - I was a reporter and assignment producer for our TV station, GHS-TV, which served as the public-access station for Memphis.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No and it is a shame I haven't. I love the feel of paper, smell of ink, so using a typewriter would be pretty fun.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To inform the public. To document history. To always be truthful, accurate and fair.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram - I'm a photographer wannabe and love showing off my creative side here!
Why did you become a journalist?
To sit in the front-row of history.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Not the newspaper, instead we had a TV studio. Super lucky we had this!
What's your favorite drink?
Diet Coke. all. day.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading a new book or out on a run by the lake.
