Sharon Smith’s Biography

Sharon came to WBTV in 2005 as a reporter, and soon became a fill-in anchor. She anchors the Sunday evening shows on WBTV. Sharon was a reporter in Columbia for several years, and worked on the local CrimeStoppers Board. She also spent time producing at another station in Charlotte before starting her reporting career. She feels committed to covering stories that impact our justice system, especially how repeat offenders cycle in and out of the courts.
