I'm currently working at CNN as a producer on the Newsdesk and on the Futures (planning) desk.
In September 2024 I won an Emmy Award as senior international planning editor for the live breaking news coverage of the Israel-Hamas War.
In 2023 I won an Emmy and a duPont-Columbia Award as senior international planning editor for the live breaking news coverage of the war in Ukraine.
I’ve covered many big breaking news stories including: the death of Alexei Navalny, Wagner’s military insurrection in Russia, the Covid-19 pandemic, the death of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
I’ve worked on the field and the newsdesk for the coverage of the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
Before moving to London I worked in Italy as a journalist for four years.
I reported on a wide range of topics, from politics and current affairs to art and technology, for two daily newspapers: Corriere della Sera (Florence edition) and Il Tirreno.
