What was your first job as a journalist?

News reporter at Il Tirreno, a Tuscan newspaper.

How is social media changing news?

It makes news-gathering easier, but gives a platform to fake news producers and trolls

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Pc/Ipad, smartphone and/or photo camera, Adobe Audition and Premiere.

Why did you become a journalist?

I love writing and informing people.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

How Tuscan scientists contributed to the discovery of gravitational waves in 2016-2017.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Never stop being curious about life.

What's your favorite drink?

A good glass of French, red wine.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In a park.
