Shaun Strom

Shaun Strom is a social media manager and digital marketing specialist based in Porto, Portugal, working in online reputation management, helping clients shape a digital presence that genuinely reflects who they are: accurate, current, and worth ranking for. What makes the work land, though, has less to do with algorithms than you'd expect, and more to do with people.

Shaun didn't start in marketing. Shaun started in HR, and it's probably the single most useful thing about how the work gets done today. Managing someone's reputation is a deeply human task dressed up in technical clothing, so before a single post goes out, Shaun works to understand the person or brand: their voice, their values, the story they want the world to see. From there the craft takes over: content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and Bluesky, each piece translated into the native language of its platform, all of it grounded in content calendars, analytics, and competitive research. Creative enough to be worth seeing, disciplined enough to know whether it actually worked.

The part Shaun cares about most is the client relationship. Many people arrive feeling exposed or misrepresented online, and Shaun takes that seriously: explaining things clearly, setting honest expectations, and keeping clients looked after rather than left in the dark. Tech-forward and always learning (currently deep in AI, automation, and video), Shaun uses the tools to do more of the work only a person can do well, not less. At heart: a people person who happens to be very good with a content calendar.
