Investigation of interlayer interference regulation in offshore high-water-cut reservoirs with horizontal-vertical combined well patterns
Abstract Offshore strongly heterogeneous heavy oil reservoirs generally suffer from severe development imbalance during the ultra-high water cut stage, characterized by preferential flow in high-permeability layers, insufficient utilization of medium- and low-permeability layers, and significant remaining oil accumulation between wells.

Integration of Domain Knowledge and Data-Driven Modeling Evaluation Process for Predicting Minimum Miscible Pressure of CO2-Oil Systems in CCUS
Carbon dioxide-enhanced oil recovery (CO2-EOR) is the main application of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) in oil and gas field development, and the modeling and evaluation process of the minimum miscible pressure (MMP) of the CO2–crude oil system is very important for CO2-EOR projects. Unlike previous studies that often used low-dimensional incomplete data, this research utilizes high-dimensional nonlinear full-component tabular data of injected gas and crude oil.
Influence of Pore Structure on Gas Flow and Recovery in Ultradeep Carbonate Gas Reservoirs at Multiple Scales
Ultradeep carbonate gas reservoirs are a major resource of interest in clean energy development, and complex pore structures and reservoir conditions with high-temperatures and pressures are great challenges to efficient development and experimental research. It is becoming increasingly imperative to study the influence of pore structure on gas flow and productivity under reservoir conditions.
