Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

My high school was too small to have a newspaper. My grad class consisted of just 60 kids.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The Messy, Wasteful, Unmentionable Business of Menstruation, for Earth Island Journal in 2021.

What's your favorite drink?

Tap water with lots and lots of ice cubes (and I do mean lots, way more than seems reasonable to most people).

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Reading a novel on my e-reader.

Either The Washington Post or The Guardian.
