As I grew up, I realised that I am passionate about one
thing: digging out the truth, and journalism felt like a natural path to it.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Ask the difficult questions.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The worst pitch I ever received was one addressed to the wrong name, promoting a product completely unrelated to my beat, and insisting it was “breaking news”. If a pitch misunderstands who I am, what I cover, and why it matters, it’s an instant miss.
