A two-dimensional metal-organic framework assembled from scandium-based cages for the selective capture of sulfur hexafluoride
A two-dimensional metal–organic framework assembled from scandium-based cages for the selective capture of sulfur hexafluoride† Herein, we report the synthesis of a two-dimensional metal–organic framework (MOF), assembled from octahedral metal–organic cages featuring phenanthroline-based carboxylate linkers and μ3-oxo-centered trinuclear Sc(III) inorganic building blocks. We study the performance of this MOF towards the capture of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6).
Synthesis of an Iron-Based Metal-Organic Framework with Octahedral Cages for the Selective Capture of Sulfur Hexafluoride
Synthesis of an Iron-Based Metal-Organic Framework with Octahedral Cages for the Selective Capture of Sulfur Hexafluoride It remains rare for the assembly of a metal-organic framework (MOF) containing bent phenanthroline linkers and iron trinuclear clusters. Herein, we report the synthesis and single crystal structure of a two-dimensional (2D) MOF, Fe-cage-MOF, assembled from 2,9-substituted phenanthroline based carboxylate linkers and pre-synthesized iron trinuclear clusters.
Porous organic polymers for light-driven organic transformations
Porous organic polymers for light-driven organic transformations As a new generation of porous materials, porous organic polymers (POPs), have recently emerged as a powerful platform of heterogeneous photocatalysis. POPs are constructed using extensive organic synthesis methodologies, with various functional organic units being connected via high-energy covalent bonds. This review systematically presents the recent advances in POPs for visible-light driven organic transformations.
Hypercrosslinking chiral Brønsted acids into porous organic polymers for efficient heterogeneous asymmetric organosynthesis
Hypercrosslinking chiral Brønsted acids into porous organic polymers for efficient heterogeneous asymmetric organosynthesis Here, we certificated a construction strategy for directly immobilizing the axially chiral phosphoric acid into hypercrosslinked polymers by one-pot Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction. They have high porosity, excellent stability and tailorable catalytic centers, and displayed excellent activity, enantioselectivity and recyclability for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation.
Bandgap engineering in benzotrithiophene-based conjugated microporous polymers: a strategy for screening metal-free heterogeneous photocatalysts

Bandgap engineering in benzotrithiophene-based conjugated microporous polymers: A strategy for screening metal-free heterogeneous photocatalyts
Bandgap engineering in benzotrithiophene-based conjugated microporous polymers: A strategy for screening metal-free heterogeneous photocatalyts Metal-free conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) as visible-light active and recyclable photocatalysts offer a green and sustainable option to classical metal-based photosensitizers. However, the strategy for screening CMP-based heterogeneous photocatalysts has not been interpret up to now.
Cationic porous organic polymers as an excellent platform for highly efficient removal of pollutants from water
The construction of efficient adsorption materials for removal of pollutants from water is of primary importance to environmental protection. Here, we present a novel cationic porous organic polymer C-NSANaphHCP@Br, that features a permanent porosity with high surface area and moderate pore volume, and exhibits an excellent chemical stability.
