MUNCIE, Ind. — With the midterm elections taking place across the country, the topic of voter turnout arises, especially when it comes to college students. Between busy classes, work commitments and extracurriculars, voting and keeping up with politics can sometimes become difficult for students. According to the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, in the 2024 presidential election, 47% of people ages 18-29 voted, with only 39% of the age group voting in Indiana.
