Section 8 investing in Cleveland
Hi, I have read posts in a number of forums about section 8 investing in Cleveland. I am a newcomer to the real estate investment scene in the US (moved here in the pandemic), and I wanted to connect with anyone that has experience with Section 8 investments in Cleveland particularly. I am interested in looking at out of state investment opportunities as the high cost of living in NJ really does make it very investor friendly at the moment.
WHERE TO INVEST???
I would recommend Columbus Ohio personally! Still tons of 1% rule deals here in Columbus Ohio. Plus you get a great mix of positive cash flow and appreciation - it doesn't get better than this! Also, I love how there's tons of catalysts for population and job growth. Columbus is the only city in the midwest and rust belt that is growing in population. Plus, tons of employers like Honda, Intel, Nationwide, Wexner are bringing more jobs here.

While Akron offers affordability, Cleveland emerges as a better bet for steady rental income due to high renter occupancy.
Mid Term Rentals in Columbus

I recently received an inquiry about one of my properties from summer interns working for JPMorgan Chase and it got me thinking about what other traveling professionals outside of the healthcare industry are out there that we could market our property to.
