An arts writer and editor based in London, UK, with more than two decades of experience.

My specialism is contemporary photography. I currently write for The Art Newspaper, British Journal of Photography, The RPS Journal and LensCulture, but am broadening my portfolio to cover wider arts subjects for a wider list of titles.

I was previously the editorial director of British Journal of Photography, successfully relaunching it as a high-quality monthly magazine aimed at an international audience, repositioning the relationship between print and digital to create a multi-award-winning platform. More recently I was head of content at Magnum Photos.
