Exudative glomerulonephritis associated with acute leptospirosis in dogs
Leptospirosis is a zoonosis with worldwide distribution that affects a large variety of mammalian species.17 It is caused by pathogenic spirochetes of the genus Leptospira that consist of 35 species classified into 3 phylogenetic clusters.40 Geographic differences in the distribution of serovars are marked and the three main pathogenic species with global distribution are Leptospira interrogans, Leptospira borgpetersenii, and Leptospira kirschneri.

There is only limited data on safety and compatibility with other commonly used intravenous medications.
