I prefer to be presented with a clear, but not rigid structure. They should have rhythm, texture, and if possible, a recognizable voice.

I would say my favorite social network is Instagram, for when I want to disconnect. I also use TikTok, mostly to explore how current events translate into fast and creative audiovisual language.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not formally work in my high school newspaper, but since pre-college I was already involved in writing. I participated in several editorial projects, wrote articles for student newsletters and collaborated in communication initiatives inside and outside the classroom. In college, this intensified: I wrote for internal media, participated in debates, and began to profile myself as a journalist with a social focus.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The best time to introduce myself is when the conversation needs context, clarity or a spark of curiosity.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I have a golden rule: if the pitch does not respect my time, it will hardly respect my judgment.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm most likely walking around Caracas, listening to a podcast or just observing how the city moves. You will also find me in workshops, forums or training spaces.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I would tell you that I love reading The Atlantic. It has that mix of analytical depth, careful narrative and critical eye that hooks me. In addition, they tend to address global issues with an approach that does not underestimate the reader, and that is always appreciated.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
My first job as a journalist was as an assistant in the press and public relations department of the Venezuelan Soccer Federation (FVF). It was an intense and formative experience: I learned about media management, institutional writing, and how to communicate in real time during sporting events.
