Social media has changed news by allowing more individuals - like myself - to add their views on topics that matter to us personally.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I write about business and life as a casual observer; however, my goals are to share meaningful information that helps others on the journey.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My proudest story is about giving my students a chance to excel --- without knowing their personal challenges and learning that it helped.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write about topics that are meaningful to you, as your passion will lead to more powerful writing and a better connection with your readers.
