What was your first job as a journalist?

Writing for my own travel website that I co-own and operate with my husband, then for honeymoon information and articles at Honeyfund.

Yes!

What does it mean to be a journalist?

I love sharing travel ideas and information with readers to encourage them to get out and explore the world, and experience new cultures.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Bridge to name a few.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't compare yourself to where other writers are. You're on your own path.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On a trip, traveling the world!
