Feeding is a daily activity that requires sucking, chewing, swallowing and coordinating breathing so that children can consume food and fluids safely and efficiently. Children with ASD frequently experience feeding problems due to food selectivity, atypical mealtime behaviours, food refusal and preferences for specific textures or colours. The present study aimed to translate, adapt and validate the BPFAS Malayalam to evaluate feeding behaviour in TD children and children with ASD.
