OP-ED | Arizona families will see up to $750 in rebates thanks to Republican legislators’ efforts
The upcoming holiday season can mean added expenses for many families, from gifts for children, and travel to spend time with relatives, to even putting a special meal on the table. Inflation is only exacerbating these costs. A few extra dollars can make all the difference for those who are struggling to make ends meet.
Democrats want big-government price controls on prescription drugs. Tell them no Original
West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin’s not-so-subtle thumbs down to President Biden’s multi-trillion dollar spending package days before Christmas may have killed the Build Back Better Act (what Republicans call the Big Government Socialism Bill) in 2021, but will this hold in 2022? He’s threatening not just inaction on border security, but eliminating current border security measures. Garcia has led calls to abolish Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

Taxpayers have become the victim of this promise, which was a great idea that has been misshapen and lost its way and original mission.
My Turn: Pay schools their money ... for kindergarten
Lawmaker: My proposal resolves the K-12 lawsuit and increases funding with true education dollars. At his inaugural State of the State speech, Gov. Doug Ducey said: “So I say to you, the Legislature: Settle this lawsuit. To the education community: Be reasonable – and put this behind us. It’s time to stop paying lawyers and start paying teachers.” I agree.
