The Hidden Cost of Cheap Kubernetes Nodes - Complete Advanced Analysis with Real Metrics, Case Studies, and Excel Template
I really like Kubernetes, in the world of Kubernetes, the common assumption that cheaper nodes equal lower costs often leads teams to an unexpected paradox: the cheaper the node, the higher the bill. While smaller instances may seem economical at first glance, they can quietly inflate overall cluster expenses through hidden inefficiencies in pod density, networking limits, and control-plane overhead.
Introduction to IPFS
IPFS (“InterPlanetary File System”) is a key technology in the design and implementation of “Web3,” also known as the “decentralized web.” IPFS is a distributed file system that allows users to store and share files in a peer-to-peer network. It uses a content-address system, where each file is identified by a unique hash. When a file is added to the IPFS network, it is automatically distributed across nodes in the network, and users can retrieve the file from any node that has a copy.
Small-Scale Logs Processing and Analysis
Occasionally you need to process some HTTP server logs and extract analytical data from them. It can happen that you don’t have an enterprise-grade log processing pipeline available, and it’s good to know how to process and extract data from logs manually, using tools that are already available or easy to bootstrap.

Защо да се работи в конзолата е така приятно? Така е замислено от бащите-основатели на Unix
Unix.
Using FOIA Data and Unix to halve major source of parking tickets
August 13, 2018 — Matt Chapman This'll be my first blog post on the internet, ever. Hopefully it's interesting and accurate. Please point out any mistakes if you see any! In 2016, I did some work in trying to find some hotspot areas for parking tickets to see if a bit of data munging could reduce those area's parking tickets. In the end, I only really got one cleaned up, but it was one of the most-ticketed spots in all of Chicago and led to about a 50% reduction in parking tickets.
