Have you ever used a typewriter?

No, I never have, being born in 1997 let me grow up with the cutting-edge technology of the 21st century.

How is social media changing news?

It is bringing news to the publics fingertips. TV news was and is great and does a good job with breaking news but it doesn't compare.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Clark Kent.

Why did you become a journalist?

I really enjoyed talking with people and learning more about themselves and their lifestyles, and I also enjoyed writing.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I started writing at 15 and then launched my first blog "The Cox Post," at 18.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

'Bringing Tulsa back To The National Spotlight.'

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Never give up! I do not have a formal education in this but I still managed to get my first reporting job at 20 years-old.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Stargazing or listening to music, or both at the same time.
