As of now, the Ottawa Senators rank 32nd in the NHL with a 4-14-1 record and a .237 win percentage. They have lost five in a row, including getting swept in the annual California road trip. They are five points behind the struggling Montreal Canadiens and a full ten points behind the Jack Eichel-less Buffalo Sabres. Aside from the top-line of Brady Tkachuk, Josh Norris, and Drake Batherson, nearly the entire forward group is lagging behind.
