Stacey Lastoe’s Biography
Stacey Lastoe began freelancing in 2021 after working as a senior editor at CNN Travel where she won an Emmy for her work on Anthony Bourdain’s Little Los Angeles, a six-part digital series produced for Explore Parts Unknown.
The writer and editor has bylines in a variety of digital and print publications including American Way, Conde Nast Traveler, Fodor’s Travel, Food & Wine, New York Post, Time, and The Toronto Star. She has reported on a matriarchal society on a Greek island for CNN; aprés ski history and culture for Wine Enthusiast; and the hybrid wine movement for Modern Farmer.
Freelance editing projects for Condé Nast Traveler, Fodor's, and Healthline round out the independent journalist's workdays. Stacey lives in Brooklyn with her husband Steve and hound dog Odie.
