They were the standouts in the nine-horse affair. Well, the pair did not disappoint. They dominated proceedings, with Lucky Jinsha eventually getting the better of Rocket Star in that fight to the finish. While Hickey did not find any history of drunken driving by Alexander Scott, he does have a history of distracted driving and speeding.
Trubisky Injury Not As Bad As Feared

It appears he could be back sooner rather than later from his left shoulder injury. Trubisky injured it six plays into the game, falling awkwardly and he left the game. There is a national report that he has a dislocated left shoulder with a slight labrum tear but he does not need surgery.

September 30, 2019 at 3:39 pm CHICAGO (CBS) — With Manager Joe Maddon out and the season over, Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein said Monday that the organization will be making changes in the interest of developing the next world championship Cubs team. Epstein announced on Sunday that the Cubs would be parting ways with Maddon at the end of the season. The end of the season came later the same day, when the Cubs lost 9-0 to the St. Louis Cardinals.
4 Injured When CTA Bus Slams Into Tree On Lake Shore Drive
September 30, 2019 at 3:12 pm CHICAGO (CBS) — Four people were rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after a Chicago Transit Authority bus crashed into a tree on North Lake Shore Drive. The accident happened on the Drive near Wilson Avenue, the Fire Department said. The bus is an articulated bus that bends at the center. Tire tracks appeared to indicate that it crossed the median before hitting the tree on an off-ramp. Four people were hospitalized, according to the Fire Department.

Court filings unsealed Monday reveal that Chicago-born drug trafficker Pedro Flores asked in July for a reduction of his 14-year prison term for risking his life in testifying against Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman last year.

German lawmakers probing the surveillance activities of the U.S. National Security Agency have uncovered a legal loophole that allows the country's foreign intelligence agency to spy on its own citizens. The agency, known by its German acronym BND, is normally forbidden from eavesdropping on Germans or German companies. But a former BND lawyer told Parliament this week that Germans aren't protected while working abroad for foreign companies.
