Cost-effectiveness of concurrently available oral and long-acting injectable pre-exposure prophylaxis for preventing HIV infections among men who have sex with men in eastern China: A modelling study
Background China faces a growing HIV burden among men who have sex with men (MSM), yet uptake of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) remains low. Long-acting injectable cabotegravir (CAB-LA) may improve prevention effectiveness, but its economic value in China remains uncertain. Methods We developed a risk-stratified dynamic compartmental model incorporating HIV natural history, diagnosis, ART, and both transmitted and acquired drug resistance.
Genetic diversity of HIV in Yunnan, China: the role of second-generation recombination involving circulating and unique recombinant forms - Virology Journal
Between 2006 and 2020, eight Burmese individuals were newly diagnosed with HIV in Baoshan, China. The participants included six females and two males, with ages ranging from twenty-one to forty-two years old in 2020, and ethnicities including Lisu, Dai, Han, and Jingpo (Table 1). Most participants were either uneducated or had only received primary education, and all were farmers. The majority were married, but three participants were unmarried.
Phylogenetic analysis and transmission networks highlight the role of older adults in the transmission of HIV-1 in northern Zhejiang, China - Virology Journal
In total, 1196 HIV-positive cases were newly diagnosed between 2017 and 2022 in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. Of which, 393 (32.9%) older cases were reported, showing an increasing trend during the period (z = 3.723). Whole blood samples, collected using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as an anticoagulant, were obtained at the first follow-up from January 2017 to December 2022. All patients were newly confirmed as HIV-1-positive and without any antiretroviral therapy at the time of sampling.

Molecular epidemiology and phylodynamic analysis of enterovirus 71 in Beijing, China, 2009–2019 - Virology Journal
The epidemiology and pathogen distribution of HFMD cases in Beijing from 2009 to 2019 is shown in Table 1. The annual number of reported HFMD cases ranging from 17,357 to 47,440 (median: 30,843), with the corresponding annual incidence rate ranging from 80.6 to 220.5 cases/100,000 populations (median: 151.7 cases/100,000 populations). Both the reported case number and the incidence rate have fluctuated with one year high and the following year low (Supplementary Fig. 1).
Menopause and stress urinary incontinence: The risk factors of stress urinary incontinence in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women
Abstract Objective The prevalence of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) increases around menopause. The quality of life of perimenopausal and postmenopausal women with SUI is significantly affected. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of SUI and the associated risk factors in a population of Chinese perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. Methods A total of 273 perimenopausal and postmenopausal women were enrolled, and a cross-sectional study was conducted.
