What was your first job as a journalist?
Stringing for my hometown newspaper for a summer during college
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! For both typing words onto paper and decorating.
Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to tell stories about people and for people, and because truth is stranger than fiction.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Wrangling children and dog. Also: making coffee, drinking coffee, or thinking about making and drinking coffee.
