Stephen Stock’s Biography

Stephen Stock is Assistant News Director and Investigative Journalist at WBRZ Baton Rouge. He specializes in public corruption, safety and transportation. Stock was a founding member of CBS News and Stations Innovation Lab and helped build investigative teams in San Francisco, Miami and Orlando. He teaches at IRE, newsrooms and universities around the US. He’s won a Peabody, a du-Pont, a national SPJ, 5 Murrows, 6 AP awards and 23 Emmys. Prior to joining CBS News, Stephen helped found NBC Bay Area’s 15-member Investigative Unit. Stock also helped build investigative teams at CBS4 in Miami and WESH-TV Orlando.
