Can't Help The Way I Feel / Deeper Love, by XL Middleton / Ghost
Originally conceived as a digital-only loosie, XL Middleton’s “Can’t Help The Way I Feel” was first released on wax in 2015 by Ghost’s Spectrum Records label. The Parisian DJ/Producer was just opening the doors of his label and saw the potential in XL’s track, a modern boogie gem that lives in the gray area between edit and full-on original song. A rare sample flip from XL Middleton combines with his signature lead synth lines, keys and pads.

The sound of Morita’s voice is a portal into her thriving, dreamlike world brimming, shimmering and beating with unrefined natural sensations which stimulate something primordial yet strangely contemporary.
